How dare you belittle me like that ...

Nah, just kidding ;-)  I am a danger to myself, that is I have a little
bit of knowledge ;-)  What I meant by my first and subsequent postings
is I have been down the ignorant path of trying to burn vob files to dvd
and I realise that error.  Now, I don't understand how to get to a point
where I have the matching ifo files and video_ts folder structure :-(
In that regard, dvd::rip is leaving me high and dry and other apps (like
k9copy) "just do it" (tm).

Thanks.  I think that you have finally hit the nail on the head and
helped make headway on the problem.  Plus, because no one has said
otherwise, I guess I am to assume that dvd:rip doesn't have the
capability to do all the final steps and burn the dvd without involving
other steps and apps :-/

Thanks, I'll check those out.  It seems that I was spoilt by apps that
"just do it" and I was expecting that dvd::rip would also - albeit with
FAR greater complexity and configuration possibilities.
