Get the genuine nVidia drivers.  They provide the best non-OSS (but free 
still) video support of any company.  In fact I use exclusively nVidia 
cards with nVidia's own drivers and have /never/ had a problem.

Failing that, have a look at:-

http://scitechsoft.com/products/ent/snap_main.html

Where you can download the required driver free.

If neither of those 2 solutions work then it's 99.9% sure to be a 
hardware fault.
