[plug] logitech g15 gaming keyboard

Hi All,

I managed to spill a few drops of coke on my g15 gaming keyboard last
Friday, which I wiped off immediately. I continued to use it for the rest of
the day without problems and then discovered on Saturday that 85% of the
keys don't work any more.

I pulled the keyboard apart and found that the coke had managed to get in
between the plastic membrane with the circuitry on it that registers the key
presses. I cleaned it all out and made sure it was all gone and dry, however
the circuitry has seemingly oxidized in some places and has gone a brownish
color. I put it all back together and tested it again and it made no
difference.

I phoned Logitech this morning to find out how I could go about getting the
replacement membrane (SOE-KBT432) and I was told that they do not sell
individual components and the best I could do was to leave the keyboard out
in the sun to dry or buy a new one.

I am very disappointed that I cannot purchase what would be a $10 part to
fix my $120 keyboard. Does anyone:

1. know where/if I can get a replacement for this, even a 3rd party one.
2. know anyone that has a broken g15 that I could pilfer the membrane from
3. know how I could go about getting this membrane fixed at a reasonable
price.

Kind regards,

Adam.
