break it down into steps.
first, ping the printer from the suse system in question to make sure you
don't have some funny firewall rule preventing you reaching the printer.
the next thing to do is make sure samba is configured correctly ( i can't be
more specific then that since i have no other info on your setup)
Is samba logging into an AD? is it just a workgroup? if i had to throw out a
wild guess your not authenticated with AD and it's denying you access. I'm
guessing that you also can't access any filehares on the computer the
printer is on either?

you can check netbios names using nmblookup
