I believe the idea at this stage is to stop advertising the workshops as
the first port of call for newbies.  After considerable discussion it
was decided that the talks events were a better introduction to linux
and the plug community for most newbies that the workshops.  They should
still be held, but considered to be more of an informal plug family get
together where those that identify with plug can get together, socialise
and do some serious linux playing, but newbies are still welcome to come
along if they need specific help.
