[plug] Lost LVM with cryptsetup after reboot

Hi list,
   
I have a LVM volume that was encrypted with cryptsetup. The
server was rebooted without the container being unmounted. Now
/dev/mapper is empty besides a control file. 

A look at syslog shows the hard drives in the lvm array giving a
"unknown partition table" error for each hard drive on boot.

Can anyone give me some pointers on hopefully saving the volume?
