You wouldn't believe the flamewars on the debian-x86-64 list about
changing the name of the architecture from x86-64 to amd64 (as requested
by AMD engineers, /just/ before Intel introduced their EM64T Pentiums).

Or rather, you probably would if you're familiar with Debian culture ;-)
