Another simple solution if you do not want to receive unwanted Flash 
content - is to install the Flash blocker extension (if using Firefox) - 
then when you get to a page where actually need to access the flash 
content ( as with the iiNet freezone) - you just click on the Flash icon 
to activate the Flash content.

Flash blocker can prevent you from downloading a great deal of unwanted 
content as well as speed up your page download times.
