Yeah, I dunno either, there's something about them that's just so...cool.

Solid state makes it good 'cause you can throw it around a bit without 
worrying about getting bad sectors or anything, but yer, if I had $400 
or so relatively spare I'd prolly grab one but atm that could  go 
towards my instrument rating :P
