The Acer one looks very good on paper, at $400 (+rebate) for a 9", atom, 
8GB SSD, linux.

Thats a bit chunky at 2.6kg. Nowhere near a netbook.

Or you could get an ex-lease Thinkpad X-series. Much better than a 
netbook, if you can find a good one. Its probably a bit late for
that now though.
