Yes and no.

In the corporate environment money rules even more.

When a high enough manager makes numbers, and provided a good IT guys explains 
it to him/her in a convincing way, showing how to do everything they use to 
do, they can easily force everybody under them to use Gnu/linux.

A 1-2 hour retraining of the staff will do for the 99% of things most of them 
do.
