Ooo de ja vu - my dad installed a switch on the front of our computer(s) 
a long time ago for dual booting. I guess it was late 80s or early 90s. 
I think he had various combinations he used, e.g. a switch to swap IDE 
primary and secondary, one to enable or disable a drive. I remember as 
kids we were under strict instructions to never touch those (pretty 
heavy duty) switches unless the machine was off.
