Well, I don't know about the 310, but if you look at Harris technology

"System Requirements
Linux, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows
Vista, Microsoft Windows 2003, Apple MacOS X 10.3 - 10.5"
Which makes Samsung one of the few manufacturers who EVER admit their
kit works under Linux - one of the reasons I buy Samsung when I can.
