Old Thread

But I have decided that I am going to spearhead the re-re-re-start-up this
time.

There are a lot of ways to discuss it; but for me here it is:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/LinuxIT/146320002051034

My basic plan is if enough people are interested I will create a google apps
domain and a FB page to match.

I don't see the need for regular meetings in person as this is the
new millennium and we can chat via TS3 or google chat or whatever we decide.
Being professionals we can decide on the best non-partisan way.

I need Alex to still be interested in being treasurer. I need a person
familiar with meetings and I need people interested in Linux as part of
their profession.

This is not just Linux (mainly Linux) but how using Linux is the best tool
for most jobs. More importantly how Linux can help you with your current
job. We do not have to be one eyed. There are so many options now to use
Linux in a multitude of devices. Lets let people know we are here!

For the paranoid. Yep self interest but I get a lot of reference anyway and
I will step away if wanted. There are a lot of easier ways to get work than
doing this!

I can see a lot of options available to us. To start go to the above link
and hassle me out to start our own page!

Kind Regards
