Easy Alex - don't bust a vein ;-)
I think Tim has raised a valid point, and like you I'm not keen on
changing the core elements of the logo but definitely 'updating' it.
Plenty of businesses do this - Coles and Woolworths are two big examples
- and I'm of the opinion that it wouldn't hurt.
I'm no graphic designer but perhaps we could be a little more stylised
with our logo? A cartoon Tux next to a cartoon swan? A cartoon swan with
a Tux face (ala SLUG - http://www.slug.org.au/ )? Something a little
more 'Crystal' or 'Tango' like?
