Hi, Simon.

If you don't get any takers, you could take it to the waste 
collection centre on Balcatta Rd, Stirling, opposite ERG.  They 
collect e-waste from private individuals.  (Limit of 2 CRTs per day.)                   
They are open until 4pm, seven days a week.
