[plug] varying screen dimage dimension

  am a novice and finding my way slowly into Ubuntu Puppy. I have a problem  with the display size 
  opening Mozilla the window size  is correct, but any further search creates an oversize image making navigating a frustrating business, requiring scrollbar to read the edges!
  I'm using a dell optiplexGX270 desktop  with compaq S510 screen. any suggestions?
