Hi I thought I had it fixed by changing /etc/init/kdm.conf to 'stop on runlevel [0136]'. It appeared to work for a while, but today I got the gui login again. kdm.conf still has [0136]. What do I need to change to get Kubuntu to boot to command line? TIA Jim
