I agree with you 100%. In fact one of the VM's I try not to disturb is running Blackberry Enterprise 
Server on XP. It's a fact of life that sometimes you just need it. I just prefer to have it safely 
tucked away in a VM where it's fiercely protected from the outside world and can be rebooted in 
about 5 seconds.

I don't have to worry about security vulnerabilities or windows update breaking things this way.
