Sorry I forgot to mention that I have vsftpd already working for the local
user only (myself) for updating the wordpress app. The question is more how
do I set it up to allow a web designer access to another web site that is
hosted on this server I only want them to be able to see like
/srv/www/2ndhostdomain only.

Jon, have you tried googling any of this?

You need to decide on a ftp server to use, then install it. There are
a number of options
with different features. proftpd, vsftpd are 2 to start with.

Have a look at them and trying installing one of them through the SuSE
packaging system (not sure what that is because I don't use SuSE).
