[plug] re; how to setup a ftp access

You need to decide on a ftp server to use, then install it. There are
a number of options
 with different features. proftpd, vsftpd are 2 to start with.

Have a look at them and trying installing one of them through the SuSE
packaging system (not sure what that is because I don't use SuSE).
