No subject

X -broadcast
X -query <hostname>

The broadcast option broadcasts a request to any XDM server on the local LAN 
while the query option asks the named host machine to be its X display manager.

I hope that helps, the last time I did this was three years ago at Curtin. I 
may need to reboot my machine to freshen my memory.
