Star Office 5.2, it appears that Open Office will comprise of just a word
processor, a spreadsheet and a graphical application, as standalones, with
no integration, and will not include email, scheduling, HTML editor, web
browser, or, unspecified fonts and file filters.

Can you please clarify, as Open Office appears to be quite limited as an
office suite, and appears to have not much advantage over using standalone
applications, such as gnumeric for a spreadsheet, the GIMP for a graphical
application, and a standalone word processor, such as lyx (I believe that
comes close to a word processor), or, even, just using gvim (apart from
the lack of word-wrap in gvim), as Open Office appears to be no more than
just a collection of three single applications of each of these three
application types.

Thanks in anticpation.

PS; please excuse the split infinitives.
