Nominations are now open for submission from PLUG members to the PLUG
Committee for 2012 for the positions of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson,
Treasurer and Secretary, and will close 28 days before the AGM,
currently anticipated to be January 10th 2012. Note that Chairperson and
Vice-Chairperson are the formal names of the positions normally referred
to as President and Vice-President of the association.
Any PLUG member considering standing for one (or more) of these positions -
Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer or Secretary - are encouraged
to deliver their nominations to the current secretary (myself) *before*
Tuesday 13 of December 2012 at 00:00 AWST (midnight between the 12th
December and 13th December 2011), at which time nominations will close
according to the PLUG Constitution, and formal notice of the AGM will
be given (which is expected to be held on January 13th 2012) along with
a list of nominations.
Please note that a member can be nominated for more than one position. In
addition, a member can nominate to be co-opted into an OCM position to
help out with running the club in a less formal manner.

or in writing to the PLUG postal address:

Note that if another member is proposing the nomination, the nominee must
accept the nomination. So, if sending via email, it is recommended that
you cc the nominee or otherwise ensure that there is sufficient time
to confirm the nomination. If the nomination is being sent in writing,
both the nominee and the nominator must sign the letter.
Please be aware that according to the PLUG Constitution, nominations made
at the AGM may only be accepted if no prior nominations exist for a given
position.
