Have you considered http://pipes.yahoo.com?
If it's any indication, apparently it's popular with TV bittorrent downloaders, due to the regex, dedupe (between "scene" releases from different groups) and filtering (PAL vs NTSC vs 720P vs 1080P) capabilities.
I think it can also create direct links to the different stages of the rss build, meaning you can have the feed split into different categories and reference each result as a different RSS link.

Subject: [plug] Anyone know any good blog/feed aggregators
Hi
Wrt the subject I found http://www.feedjack.org/ should I want to get a local install going, but Id rather it be hosted already if its possible.
What Id like to is create themed blog aggregators for myself/my future company. So one aggregator would have a list of personal interest/hobbies blogs/sites etc and another would be about some tech topic blogs/sites.
Google Reader kinda works but I dont think I can seperate the subscriptions into categories?
cheers
Shanon
