Not sure what you mean by "navi", the only files that was changed is
main.cf, master.cf and amavis.conf and all of these were changed and postfix
stopped and restarted.

Jon, after changing the config navi, did you reload postfix to make it
re-read the config file?

	Hi Jon,

Looks like Postfix is trying to access amavis to do spam checking.
As far as I remember postfix forwards any messages to amavis using a local
network connection and you have to have both services running for any
messages to be processed successfully, otherwise they will get stuck in
postfix.

I'm getting the following messages in my
mail log, although I cannot find where it is referencing.

		Apr 10 15:10:44 mmtlnx postfix/qmgr[975]: warning: connect

		Apr 10 15:11:44 mmtlnx postfix/qmgr[975]: warning: connect
to transport smtp-amavis: Connection refused

I had tried to install amavis on the server and since I
couldn't get it to work I went back to the previous configuration.

I've looked at the following files and there is no
indication that the postfix is trying to use amavis.

The only files I configured was /etc/postfix/main.cf and
master.cf
I've turned off amavis via chkconfig amavis off

Just wondering where is this warning coming from?

		Thanks
