[plug] warning messages in mail log

Yes this is true and I've removed the settings from the master.cf file and
amavis so this does not take place. Had a heap of error messages so I
thought I would roll back and try again at a later date.

I've restarted postfix after making the changes.

Hi Jon,

Looks like Postfix is trying to access amavis to do spam checking. As far as
I remember postfix forwards any messages to amavis using a local network
connection and you have to have both services running for any messages to be
processed successfully, otherwise they will get stuck in postfix.

I cannot find where it is referencing.

Apr 10 15:11:44 mmtlnx postfix/qmgr[975]: warning: connect to
transport smtp-amavis: Connection refused
I had tried to install amavis on the server and since I
couldn't get it to work I went back to the previous configuration.
I've looked at the following files and there is no
indication that the postfix is trying to use amavis.
The only files I configured was /etc/postfix/main.cf and
master.cf
I've turned off amavis via chkconfig amavis off
Just wondering where is this warning coming from?
		Thanks
