[plug] error on booting to ubuntu dvd

I'd check the image downloaded and burnt has the right md5 hash, from
memory there is also a "Check Media" option when you boot the CD that
will tell you if its ok.

I've had similar issues with corrupt downloads and low quality blank
CDs that don't burn properly.
