Hey Alex

In my opinion and 5 cents worth.
Joomla, Drupal have there uses, but are a bit more complicated for a
simpler basic site.
(they are more powerful for bigger websites and commerce)

CMS Made Simple is another alternative, it's a simple CMS my web design
friends used to rave about

Really depends on your requirements and where you want to go with your
website.

Port80.asn.au would be another place to post on, not that i want you to
leave this list.
