I have no experience with PoE, but I've been trying out two GigE
24port switches recently:
* HP ProCurve 1810G-24
* Netgear ProSafe GS724T

On balance I think I'd go with the HP. Apparently they have a lifetime
replacement warranty, plus the web interface is snappier. Specs are
pretty close. They can each be had for roughly $300.
