there are nice little USB stick devices by Sandisk that take microSD cards, so 
your microSD becomes a typical USB stick

sometimes bluetooth is the simplest, if you have bluetooth on each device of 
course. File transfer isn't very fast, but is very easy to initiate without any 
leads etc.
