Hi Paul,
Know this might be a bit late for you, but thought I'd put it out there for
anyone else looking for the same sort of thing.
The HP 1810 series of switches are perfect for what you're after.

Web Managed, VLAN, QoS, LACP.
8, 24 and 48 port models, 24 and 48 port models include SPF sockets.
I currently use two of them here, one is the core for my vmware cluster,
and one as my core network switch. Both have LACP bonded links to the
mikrotik router, while the vmware cluster one has various configurations of
round robin, lacp and failover from the vmhosts, and bonded links from the
iscsi server.
Can't fault them, very reliable and fast, and can be picked up new for
between $200 and $300. Just double check model numbers there are still some
FastEthernet models being sold out there as 1810-24 as opposed to 1810-24G.
