[plug] Any SNMP users around?

Hi Pluggers!

If any of you have some experience/war stories about using SNMP for
configuration & control, I'd like to offer you a beverage of your choice in
exchange for your story.

I'm currently designing/implementing SNMP control (SETs) for an audio codec
device and it looks quite easy to botch the API (just look at the competing
products).

I'll be at the talk tonight.
