[plug] Consumer adsl modem router with built in dns server?

Thanks everyone.
I have considered just building a spare machine for that, as my machine,
although it runs linux, is not on all the time.
The modem/router I have provides dhcp and you can see the list of connected
machines by name, so it seems silly that you can't even ping machines in my
house by name.
Of course I can just keep a host list in all machines, but I am lazy.
I guess my next modem/router upgrade will better be a modem and a separated
router that I can configure or flash as I want :)
Cheers,
Marcos
