It might not be exactly what your after but I'd take a look at Ubiquiti kit.

If you do go with Ubiquiti I'd split your router and access point into
two separate devices. I can recommend their EdgeRouter series, I've
got the EdgeRouter PoE at home

Vyatta which is not fully open source, but you can download the source
code and they accept patches

I've also heard great things about their UniFi wireless access points
from several sources although I haven't personally used them.
