Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but may have some info in this below post for you that could prove useful:
I was trying to stream live video from a drone using the below and had some success.

Hi all,

I want to stream a video file from computer a to computer b

using command line (no gui)

using mplayer or mpv

what I need is a working example (from there I can experiment)

I seem to find bits & pieces & half's that never work


any help appreciated
