Hi Bill,
Dahua cameras are essentially web servers and can store on local SD cards.
They don't actually need an internet connection. There is a weird Windows
app that initialises each camera but from there it's fairly straightforward.
I can lend you one if you wish. (I have a trade account with a wholesaler)
