In addition to the events mentioned below, there is also our regular
PLUG + POSH Hack Afternoon
Sunday 8th May, 12:00 - 16:00
The monthly PLUG + POSH Hack Afternoon is a language/platform agnostic
hack session. Bring your favourite or interesting project and a love
of code, or any other tech project that you're interested in. We'll be
hosting it in person @ the Artifactory, as well as online. You can
access it at this URL on the day: https://meetings.ucc.asn.au/b/plug
If attending in person there is a $5 entrance fee (yes the price has
been reduced!)

Our May talk is Tarsnap, presented by Niall Navin

In this day and age backups are ubiquitous with basic system
administration. Tarsnap augments the traditional tape archive program,
tar, to provide encryption and cloud storage. Designed such that not
even the creator can access your data, its tagline is 'Online backups
for the truly paranoid'

This is an Informal hack day with the aim of improving and modernising
PLUG services and architecture. For more details please contact James,

Monday 30th May 18:00-20:00 PLUG in the Pub
Come eat, drink, chat, hack and socialise. We are easy going and it's
a very casual event.
