[plug] xfce on raspberry pi

Thank you for all the suggestions.

For the moment I have decided to only update to bullseye, which is
still supported as a legacy version, rather than bookworm. (If I had
done this update when I intended bookworm wouldn't have been
released!).
So I can investigate other desktops at my leisure
