As was suggested by someone on /. - it is probably a good idea to hand out
some sort of quick reference card such as the one available at
http://enterprise.powerup.com.au/%7Esquadron/

I don't think we should use that one though, because it seems very RedHat
specific, even though it calls itself the "One Page Linux Manual" - they
should have called it the "One Page Red Hat Linux Manual"

I suggest we make our own, perhaps containing the generic commands as well
as distribution-specific instructions under their own headings, such as:


Installing software for Red Hat Linux and derivations

rpm -ihv name.rpm	Install the rpm package
rpm -Uhv name.rpm	Upgrade the rpm package
 [...]

Installing software for Debian Linux and derivations
dpkg -i name.deb	Install and/or upgrade the deb package
apt-get install name	Download and install the package and
			all packages it depends on




Either that, or have a sheet with generic commands and then seperate
sheets for each of the major Distros (maybe a better idea)
