That was fun! 6 of us on the Raspberry Pi's, and few extras that dropped
in to chat. :) We're not done and dusted, reinstalling Pi's the way
we like is a thing we can do at installfests or any other regular PLUG
workshop/hack day; and we're probably due for a regular Rasbperry Jam in
February or March 2026.

...but there's our end-of-year event to come first. No talks for December,
but we usually take our second Sunday and got for a BBQ in King's Park.
Does anyone here want to get involved?

Here's what we usually try to bring, some basic, some optional:
- Sausages
  - including vegetarian/vegan options by request
- Bread / bread rolls, and butter
- Onions
- Sauces
- Oil
- Cooking implements/BBQ tools
- Drinks
- Esky
- Ice
- Cheese/grated cheese
- Salads
- cutlery
- plates and serviettes
- Signage or Tux on-a-t-shirt?
- Sunscreen

PLUG will pay for the food and collect RSVP's; we can reimburse people
on the day for any receipt-provided costs that Committee has confirmed
in advance.

Later, some of us will head on to the regular second-Sunday PLUG+POSH
Hack afternoon, language/platform agnostic hack session. Bring your
favourite or interesting project and a love of code, or any other tech
project that you're interested in.

Speaking of sunscreen... we've just had some X-class solar flares;
and there's a geomagnetic storm underway, with a chance of Aurora
Australis, even from Perth. Take a look outside after sunset:

I'm thinking I'll take a little drive, maybe even a roadtrip to
https://astrotourismwa.com.au/darkan-observing-site/
Anyone else keen?

Call me maybe,
Nick.
