[plug] Installfest notes

Cheers Chris and thank you for the link

Having had a look at Win11 and trying to look past all the UPSELL-BABY-UPSELL
cruft I feel happy I don't have to go there again. I have an isolated Win10 on
KVM as a "software wrapper" for a few things I need to run on there and that's it.

Yes to next time .. we'd love to have you there.

As I said, there was some uncertainty on the date of this November one which
pushed our organising too close. Next year we either have a date earlier from
our co-host or we run an independent event.

The venue has turned out to be useful and we're arranging the upstairs meeting
room for the AGM, Tuesday 13 January 6pm to 8pm. Note that date and we have a
talk in preparation for the night also.

All the best
Harry
