I second that, excepting that I have had more problems with Banksias than
any other modem. Make sure he gets a modem compatible with his ISP, as
there are three different standards for 56k modems. As far as I know,
though, you'd be very hard pressed to find a new modem or an ISP that
doesn't implement the "standard" standard these days.
Anyone know of any notable exceptions?
