I am using a Netcomm Smartmodem 56 with mgetty.

I configure the modem with AT#CID1 to report CID information, which
works well.

The problem is that the caller id info is only displayed once per
answered call. If I reject the call (ie dont answer it based on CID
information) then subsequent calls dont have their cid info displayed. I
found that I can get new cid info displayed if I repeat the AT#CID1
command between calls but this not practical. I want to use mgetty and
its dialin.config mechanism to accept/reject calls. Is the above
behaviour normal for Hayes-AT modem types? Or should every new call
report the new cid info regardless of whether the last call was
answered?
