Can you run it on OS/2? OS/2 is especially good at running DOS apps, file 
locking works properly (as if 'share" is loaded).

If necessary, you can run DOS itself (including msdos 7); there's a DOS 
driver to give DOS access (via OS/2) access to the OS/2 filesystem.
