Hello Daniel

Install Linux on the slave, install lilo on the master in the mbr, add
/dev/hda1 (Windows 9?) to the lilo.conf as an alternative (possibly default)
boot option. Easy as pie and works every time. Its a good idea to create a
floppy boot disk for linux before you start modifying boot sectors.
