WA Dept of Commerce & Trade have just released a statement announcing
agreement with Telstra and Optus to provide competition in data access
services to the whole state - the State Telecommunication Enhancement
Program.

Since a number of PLUGgers are in ISP operations, I wonder if any have
comment on this move and maybe a crystal-ball-gaze at what that might mean
to small businesses and Joe Blows in remote areas.
