yes; he kind of has his old telephone neumber, with telstra charging him
16 cents a call redirection or something silly, on all calls to his old
number, until they can give him a proper number, appropriate to the area
in which he now lives.

It is complicated and messy, and stinks of general incompetence, like
the kangaroo excrement that he gets all over his lawn. He is in a suburb
of Armadale, where the kangaroo roam.

The problem is that celullar phones don't work very well in Armadale
(remote community, remember...).
