G'day all,

This probably won't interest any of you, but I'm going to
say it anyway..

Just thought I'd do a little test to see how my debian potato
system held up under a severe load...

While writing this in Navigator 4.7, I have open
2 Navigator windows
1 Messenger window
2 Windows in Star Office
Eudora Pro 3 for Windows under Wine
Opera 3.6 for Windows under Wine
Nedit
Licq
Compupic 4.6-1022 indexing and thumbnailing 2000 .jpg files
A virtual console building wine
A virtual console building a 2.2.14 kernel and modules
A distributed net rc5des cracker session
and Adobe Acrobat 4 displaying a 3.5mb .pdf Doc

62020K Mem Used, 1184K Free
92952k Swap used 37564K Free
Load Average 5.77 5.47 .326

This is on a k6ii-300 (Clocked to 366) with 64mb PC100SDRam
Quantum EL Fireball on a Udma interface and a Matrox Mill I
Graphics card..

Lets see ya do that under windows and still be able to use the system.
