They do, as detailed in an earlier reply; you have two other reasonable
alternatives: run real X in vmWare (or better still, run Windows in
vmWare from a real X server) or dual-boot the client machine(s).
For character access I use a small and effective executable named putty
(search for ssh on tucows.iinet.net.au) since (1) telnet is a security
hazard anyway and (2) the telnet that comes with windows is bloody
useless for anything more complex than loggin in and doing ls. It is the
single worst implementation of VT-100ness that I have seen in modern
times.
